The majority of orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. Larger furniture items are processed within 14 business days due to the process of finding and hiring an independent freight shipper.
I am not responsible for the delivery time delay of your package(s) from my third party carries, such as USPS, UPS, FedEx and independent freight services. If delay due to my 3rd party carrier occurs, it is recommended the customer to call the shipping carrier directly if the customer feels the package(s) is arriving later than expected. If you haven’t received your order within 30 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact me at kristin@porchnook.com with your name and order number, and I will look into it for you.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Items that state in their description, “FREE SHIPPING on this item!” will be shipped to the customer via USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground Shipping.
Large and heavy furniture items that state, “FREE delivery in Frederick County, Maryland! For other locations, please message your zip code so I may provide cost for shipping before you order” will require additional shipping charges not published during checkout. Customer must request a shipping estimate before the item is purchased. Shipping estimates are generated by UShip.com, a 3rd party bidding service that matches domestic freight services with smaller retail businesses. I do not profit from shipping, customer will be charged for shipping services at cost.
Local Delivery
Free local delivery is available within Frederick County, Maryland. Deliveries are made from 9am-1pm EST on Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. I will contact you via email to notify you when your delivery has arrived.
Pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at 3924 Sweet Briar Ln, Urbana MD. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 3 business days. I will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
Pickup hours are 9am-6pm EST on Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
International Shipping
Currently, I do not ship internationally. I only ship within the United States.
How do you check the status of your order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from me which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges
Porch Nook LLC accept returns up to 14 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, I will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email me as soon as possible at kristin@porchnook.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. I address these on a case-by-case basis but will try my best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
